The 4th Annual Fetal Heart Society Scientific Session, chaired by Drs. Mary Donofrio, Nelangi Pinto, Mishella Perez, Chris Lindblade, Theresa Tacy, Christina Ronai, and Anita Moon-Grady, will discuss the lesion-specific 2023 ASE Fetal Echocardiography guidelines, fetal cardiac MRI, ongoing FHS research projects and challenges in prenatal counseling. Leading experts in the field will speak and participate in panel discussions throughout the educational conference.

This session will delve into fetal echocardiography based on the 2023 ASE Guidelines. It will cover effective approaches to assessing fetal heart health, including various heart conditions and abnormalities. Discussions will explore advanced imaging techniques such as MRI evaluation. Additionally, the session will consider rare fetal cardiac diseases, factors impacting diagnosis and care, cultural considerations, and challenges in fetal cardiac counseling and decision-making, drawing from recent experiences like the pandemic. The Fetal Heart Society 4th Annual Scientific Session is a pre-conference event to the Phoenix Children's 14th Annual Fetal Cardiology Symposium.

The Phoenix Children's 14th Annual Fetal Cardiology Symposium includes a three-day educational conference (General Sessions are from Nov 8-10, 2024) that explores important concepts in congenital heart disease and advances in imaging, diagnosis and management of fetal cardiac abnormalities. For an additional purchase, there are also several pre-conference options on Nov 7, 2024.

Lectures, interactive case study and panel discussion formats will focus on expanding evidence-based care management strategies for clinical decision making. Speakers are nationally and internationally prominent experts, which creates an authoritative learning venue for fetal cardiology and fetal imaging.

This symposium is designed for physicians, including pediatric cardiologists, maternal fetal medicine specialists, obstetricians, neonatologists, radiologists, geneticists, pathologists, sonographers, nurses, other paramedical colleagues and trainees.
