Outcome Objectives

-Adhere to OB cardiac screening guidelines.

-Incorporate into diagnosis sonographic findings of various forms of congenital heart disease and prenatal prediction of postnatal outcomes.

-Manage referral criteria and risks of fetal cardiac and extracardiac intervention.

-Provide improved, accurate fetal cardiac diagnosis and counseling to the maternal patient.

-Detect congenital heart disease with improved accuracy.

-Communicate to patients more effectively prenatal predictors of postnatal outcomes of congenital heart disease.

-Counsel patients on postnatal neurodevelopmental outcomes during prenatal counseling.

-Incorporate prenatal genetic evaluation for fetal cardiac disease.
